‘Will Liberia Ever Learn‘ is a social marketing campaign from Volunteers for Sustainable Development in Africa working with the Forestry Development Authority of Liberia and the Critical Ecological Partnership Funds (CEPF). The movement engages and works with many other stakeholders in the field. It is the culmination of years of research in understanding major problems degrading our environment. The campaign focus on reducing demand for bushmeat and illegal wildlife products and deforestation of Upper Guinea Forest. Furthermore, we are raising awareness of the ghost nets, fishing gear and plastic pollution in the ocean and livelihoods, and Biodiversity Conservation in Community Forests.
The platform digitalizes sustainable development and partner with governments, development organizations, the private sector, communities, and civil society to identify, gather and make accessible information that supports environmental sustainability. It empowers citizens to leverage the power of modern Information Communication Technology (ICT) for environmental protection and nature-based solutions for development.

The Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF)
Biodiversity—the rich array of life on Earth—is fundamental to human survival, but under tremendous and growing threat. The Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) was founded in 2000 to address this challenge by empowering civil society in developing countries and transitional economies to protect the world’s biodiversity hotspots, which are some of Earth’s most biologically rich yet threatened terrestrial ecosystems.

We strongly believe human can’t protect nature and wildlife, safeguard human health from disease like COVID or Ebola and tackle the climate crisis unless we STOP deforestation and change how we manage our forests! Thus, the call is urgent and all must join the fight now!
